I'm a crafty gal. I also end up hoarding magazines in stacks that go unread for months. Every now and then I scoop up those pages and whip out my scissors. I cut out pictures that make me happy and words or phrases that inspire me.
I've turned many ads into art that I keep close to me in case I need some pep in my life. This was my vision board/collage from earlier in the year.
There's a super strong houseplant and self care vibe that I've got going on here. It inspires me to keep going on adventures and to get some fresh air. The earth is my oyster! And every time I look at Marie Kondo I keep remembering that I should be organizing something...That vision is still working on coming into reality.
Yesterday I made another collage during my down time at work. We encourage our new associates to make vision boards to remind them of what they're working towards. Nobody wanted to make one. Fine. More magazines for me!
I have to say I'm so proud of how it turned out and I'm super excited to have it at my desk.
Still a good helping of outdoorsy whimsy and cuteness. How can you not include an adorable mouse knitting with a tiny ball of yarn?! And oh, hey there Marie Kondo. I'm still working on organizing. Tomorrow is the big day.
I encourage all of you to make a vision board or collage or scrap page for the new year. What is something you want to do? Is there something you want to manifest in your life? Let me know what your goals are! And if you make something, share it with everyone in the comments. I would love to see it!
