Fresh Start February
I think that some of us may agree that January was supposed to be the awesome rocket launch of 2020, and it just... wasn't. I won't say it was the worst (it surely wasn't), but mentally January was really up and down for me. I'm finally out of the forest for now and my mood has evened out for a little bit. So what is an undomesticated girl to do this month? Cleanse the house and get that stagnant energy out!
I'm super thankful for my permanent weekday off right now because it allows me the opportunity to get household tasks done so Caleb and I can focus on fun stuff when he's home. I have a list of things to do today that I'm hoping to accomplish. Cleaning the house is step one, and that will be a major accomplishment if I stay motivated. After the house is clean I'll smudge the stagnant energy out with some Palo Santo; and maybe if it stops raining I can open the windows and let some fresh air in. I can already envision the fresh, bright energy coming in! Good vibes only, please! I think a cleansing salt and oil bath is also getting put on my list to wash all of the residual, gunky energy away and recharge. Grounding is a MUST, and I've been neglecting to do that.
Also, I finally finished Marie Kondo's book so it's also time for me to start sparking some joy this month. I already went through my closet and filled two giant trash bags with clothes to donate (I'm kicking myself because I forgot before and after pics). I think the next step is to go through books or papers... I can't remember, but I will do my best to document my purging for you. The groundhog said it will be an early spring so I'm trying to be an overachiever and start my spring cleaning early. We'll see how well that goes...
All in all, I'm looking forward to February and what it has to bring. Thank you again for waiting patiently as I found my way out of the forest, and an extra thank you for those who checked in on me. I love you all.
