Pregnancy Update & Quarantine Life
I'm light on posts because I'm still house bound and there's not too many new things going on here. I figured I would check in and give an update on where I am right now. I hope you're doing well, and if you're struggling, I get that too. It's been mentally challenging for everyone in different ways. But we're still in this together and I know we will come out on the other side.
Happy news time - we're having a baby girl!!! Caleb and I are so excited and I have been gushing over cute baby clothes on Amazon. Second trimester living is a whole lot better than the first - less puking by far.
I'm starting to experience new challenges like getting up off the couch and trying to roll out of my bed 10 times a night to pee. My doctors and therapist have done a great job helping me manage my depression and anxiety and give me lots of support with my meds. I'm so grateful for my fantastic team of doctors! I got to see her dance around today during my ultrasound and that was AMAZING! Baby girl was jazzed and would not stay still for the ultrasound tech. Our little one is giving me lots of joy during this weird time. Isn't she just so precious!?!
Caleb and I have been lucky enough to still be working and I'm blessed to be able to work from home. I'm pretty much allowed to go outside and to the doctors office right now. No random Target strolls for me. I did have to go out to the grocery store last week because Caleb was away and I felt like a teenager sneaking out, HA! What a thrill. While I was there I grabbed myself a new bullet journal for something else to do. I'm loving it so far and it gives me something else to do. Right now is a really interesting time to record what's happening in my life.
Here's my last (and random) thought for today - Has anyone been watching Tiger King on Netflix? What in the actual fuck is going on??? The Repair Shop is a super nice palette cleanser if you need one after that shit show. What has everyone else been watching to keep them busy? I'm always up for recommendations. Stay well, everyone!
